Good goal imo. Striker stood in the same position and didn't attempt to block the kick and the keeper simply blasts the ball into the striker's back.

Many moons ago I was guilty of exactly this playing as a keeper, happily I saved the follow up shot. Didn't stop me berating the ref mind who told me I was wrong!

Goal has to stand, but I just wonder if the referee could have been a bit more proactive about it as you could see that coming a mile off.

While I do understand the being proactive approach, I wouldn't have done anything here. If the goalkeeper is going to be stupid enough to kick the ball straight at the attacker, who hasn't attempted to prevent the keeper from kicking it, then he deserves to concede the goal.

What I'd be doing there would be screaming at the attacker to let the keeper release it. In fairness he did that anyway, but hopefully shouting that "advice" would avoid the situation that ensued.

Hi
The player here expected to be hit by the ball. Look at his reaction. He subtly positions himself in the kicking channel by moving to the left and then back again. Obviously he has watched Calum Wilson
If Lee Mason was reffing it would be disallowed plus a caution.
