Bottom line is you just cannot make comments like those these days. However innocent you think they are, they are always likely to escalate out of all control. I've said this before, but if I made comments like that at work I'd lose my job, of that there is no doubt, and I don't see that football should be any different.

Sad to say that county FAs rely on the old, misogynistic dinosaur types to fill the council positions. Possibly they have little option as they are looking for people who have time, experience and aren't looking for a large salary.
