Following the untimely demise of one forum member and two others taking the early bath, three vacancies have arisen for the position of 'forum' Amigo.
Essential characteristics include but are not restricted to the following: irreverant, pedantic, comical, knowledgable, anti establishment and occasional wind up merchant!
Applications by PM to SF & myself........
Yes, I too have decided to hang up the whistle. Reach the big 60 this summer and although I can still keep up with play in most matches, the constant stop/start and turn are playing havoc with my legs. So going to do some cross country running during next winter see if I can improve my road racing. Planning another marathon in September see if I can record a respectable time.
I'll still be popping on and checking how you are all progressing, so, best of luck to all of you, hope you get where you want to be, but most of all, don't forget to have a laugh and ENJOY YOURSELVES!

Boring old man! You don't have to quit the forum just because you quit reffing! That includes you, SF!

Good luck Mintman in your future endeavours, I'm sure that that kitchen will get the knobs required and the Hull Park Run finishing line can stay erected till you turn up!

Im sensing a few will sense a bit of relief that we are not blowing the whistle next season, but we can both pop up to keep the natives in check and post reality and not the FA party line... Keep safe and when I'm at Humberside Police next week maybe we can chew the fat and raise a glass for our former chief provocateur! :blink:/>

Thanks for all your contributions to the forum over the years. All the best for the future - if I'm ever back in your neck of the woods again, I'll let you buy me a pint!

Going to get some cross country running in see if it can build some more speed and stamina in these old legs of mine!
