Hello boys and girls
I made a thread a few months ago regarding preparing for the course, and now I have started my course (well two weeks ago) and I am really enjoying it. We did a mock test before the course started and I passed it so I am confident now.
Don't really know why I want to do this, all my mates think I am crazy, but I am looking forward to it and look forward to discussing my games with you guys!
I presume this thread is allowed?
Cheers, Peter

Cheers Tim. How far have you gone in them 12 years?
I'm a grade 7 in the USSF standards, which is much different than 7 in England. I'm working towards my 6, which is a 1-3 year process in the U.S. What can I do with a grade 7? All youth games, adult recreational, adult amateur, in some areas I could also be an assistant in semi-pro games.

Firstly, welcome to the world of refereeing! I hope you enjoy your journey. Refereeing any sport can be really rewarding. There will ofcourse be those days when your running round a pitch on a Sunday morning wondering why your even bothering, but it is worth it!
Secondly - welcome to the forum! There are a lot of experienced members on here who offer some great advice. Listen and learn from them and you will improve as a referee.
I started at 13 refereeing adult mens, so atleast you know that in the UK you won't have that to worry about! I know what its like being the youngest one out there, but it can work in your favour as well. Feel free to PM/email me if you want to ask anything
